L'Inviata Speciale intervista Glenn Cooper, autore de "La Mappa del Destino"

ecco di nuovo in azione la vostra inviata speciale!!! Questa volta Ale mi ha mandato in missione per intervistare (tenetevi forte) Mr. Glenn Cooper!!! Inutile dire che il 10 febbraio per me e la mia amica Alix (essendo lei una sua accanita fan l'ho portata con me ah ah ah e l'ho anche sfruttata ah ah ah diabolica so diabolica ah ah ah) è stata una giornata very important!!!

All'attivo Glenn Cooper ha tre libri:

La Biblioteca dei Morti, Il libro delle Anime e La Mappa del destino. Tre libri, lasciatemi dire incredibili che vi tengono incollati dalla prima all'ultima pagina. Personaggi e storia vengono amalgamati con eccezionale maestria, il linguaggio è semplice e scorrevole, il tutto mixato con pathos, ironia, azione e un pizzico di romanticismo che non guasta mai. Che dire se non complimenti Mr. Cooper per essere i suoi primi tre libri direi che un bel 10 e lode se lo merita tutto.

Bene torniamo al very importan day (sorriso a trentadue denti): tutto è cominciato quando, dopo essermi lavata e stirata (ah ah ah lo so ho l'abitudine di ridere da sola alle mie battute), mi sono infilata nel mio tubino nero e accessoriata di stivali alti, trucco e parrucco sfolgorante, e va bene anche Alix era sfolgorante se poi aggiungiamo il fascino francese, (si è francese managgia, la tipica bella francesina con quel suo accento francese e i suoi modi francesi... perchè l'ho invitata? ah ah ah scherzo naturalmente) il gioco è fatto!!! Splendenti come soli ci siamo recate al fatidico appuntamento e abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere un uomo veramente speciale: affascinante, spiritoso, estremamente colto (saremmo state ore a sentirlo parlare), cordiale. Ci ha subito messe a nostro agio (lasciatemi dire che non è atteggiamento di tutti) e tutta la tensione e l'imbarazzo sono svaniti come per incanto!!!

E' rimasto colpito dal mio "tre piede umano", come ha ironicamente etichettato Alix. Sicuramente è abituato a professionisti di un certo livello e vedersi presentare due pazzoidi con una telecamera compatta (che se non specifichi che è una telecamera nessuno se ne accorge) con una povera ragazza che funge appunto da tre piede umano deve averlo colpito sicuramente, senza considerare che il magnifico aggeggio ad un certo punto ha fatto i capricci e io per circa dieci minuti non ho ripetuto altro che "I'm very very sorry" completamente mortificata per l'accaduto. Inutile dire che Mr. Cooper da perfetto gentil'uomo ha smorzato il mio imbarazzo facendo una serie di battute esilaranti (anche per questo lui avrà per sempre il mio più profondo amore oltre che la mia incodizionata stima).

A questo punto, non mi resta che scusarmi per la prolissa introduzione, ringraziare Alix per il gentile aiuto, ringraziare Alessandra per la splendida opportunità, ringraziare Barbara dell'ufficio stampa della Nord (è stata gentilissima), ringraziare la simpatica traduttrice, e ovviamente ringraziare Mr. Cooper per la sua gentile disponibilità e per la splendida dedica che mi ha fatto (non lo merito ma i complimenti fanno sempre piacere) e augurarvi buona videointervista!!!

Dear readers,

Here is back in action your sent special!!! This time Ale sent me on a mission to interview (brace yourselves) Mr. Glenn Cooper!!! Needless to say, on February 10th for me and my friend Alix (she is a very big fan of Cooper so I brought her with me ah ah ah and I also used her diabolical ah ah ah ah ah ah so diabolical) was very important!!!


Glenn Cooper has written three books:
Library of the Dead, Book of Souls and The Tenth Chamber. Three books, let me tell you unbelievable that keep you pasted from first to last page. The characters and story are amalgamated with exceptional mastery, the language is simple and free-flowing, all mixed with pathos, irony, and a dash of romance that never fails. What about if not congratulations Mr. Cooper to be his first three books I would say that he deserves a beautiful 10!

Well let's go back to the very important day (smile at thirty-two teeth): it all started when, after I wash and stretch (ah ah ah I know I used to laugh at my jokes alone), I slipped into my dress, black and equipped of high boots, wigs and blazing, and that's fine, also Alix was blazing and if we add the French charm, (Damn she is French, the typical beautiful bleached calfskin lace with his French accent and his French... why did I invited her? ah ha ha joke of course) that's it!!! Shining as the sun we travel to own fateful appointment and we had the pleasure of knowing a man truly special: charming, witty, highly cultured (we would have been hours to hear him speak), cordial. He immediately put at ease (let me say that not everyone's attitude) and all the tension and embarrassment are vanished as if by magic!


He was impressed by my "three human foot," as she ironically labeled Alix. Surely he is accustomed to professionals of a certain level and meet two freak with a compact camera (even if you specify that a camera no one notices) with a poor girl who acts precisely three human foot must have surely hit, without considering that the magnificent contraption at some point he made the whims and I for about ten minutes I repeated that "I'm very very sorry" for the incident completely afflicted. Needless to say that Mr. Cooper from perfect gentle man has dampened my embarrassment by a series of hilarious jokes (also why he will forever be my deepest love as well as my unreserved prediction).

At this point, I wish to apologize for the lengthy introduction, thank for the kind help of Alix, thank you for the wonderful opportunity Alessandra, thank Barbara from the italian publisher Nord (she was very kind), thank the nice translator, and of course thank Mr. Cooper for his courtesy and availability for the dedication that made me (I don't deserve it but the compliments are always nice) and wish you good interview!
